Tršće

A garage where a mass was celebrated burned down?

In parish Vukanovići, that is in the branch Tršće, a garage, where two days before the believers celebrated the holy mass, and one more object burned down.

In village Tršće that belongs to the parish of st. Anthony of Padua- Vukanovići, about 10 kilometers northeast from Kakanj, the villagers noticed a fire in early morning hours that started in a garage on a family estate of one of the parishioners.

Exactly in front of that object the parish priest rev. Marijan Brkić, together with the parishioners, celebrated the holy mass on Monday July 17th. On this occasion the believers dedicated themselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in front of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima that is by directive of Vrhbosna's Archbishop Vinko card. Puljić „doing pilgrimage“ in the parishes of the local church.

The police after the fire report came to the scene, did the inspection and concluded that a garage and a object next to it was destroyed.

Parish priest Brkić, in a statement for portal Nedjelja.ba, pointed out that he expects from the authorities to find out if the fire was set on purpose, for the guilty ones have to be punished, and if it was set by somebodies recklesness then it should be pointed out, so the people wouldn't get too restless.

So now all eyes are on the authorities that have to do their work and report the public about the results.

In village Tršće, mostly Muslims live, and there are only five Catholic houses.
