A sad memorial in Hudutsko


By laying the wreaths, burning candles and mass for the deceased on September 16th, the 24th anniversary of the death of 16 HVO members from Brigade Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić Jajce, was marked.

With the laying of wreaths, the burning of candles and mass for the deceased on September 16th, at the memorial of the killed in Hudutsko, in the Rama region and the Gračac parish, the 24th anniversary of the death of 16 HVO members from Brigade Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić Jajce was marked.

The memorial of this sad day, the family, relatives and friends of the killed, the representatives of the associations from the Homeland War, representatives of political parties and the delegations of Jajce and Prozor-Rama, attended.

Prayer for the deceased and the holy Mass was led by OFM Mato Topić, parish priest of Gračac parish and Dean of the Rama Decanate.

Troops of the Army of BiH killed 16 HVO soldiers and two civilians. Of the four captured soldiers one was killed, three survived and they were taken to the "Muzej" camp in Jablanica. In October 1993, one of them managed to escape from the camp, while the other two were exchanged on March 1st 1994. Most of the HVO soldiers in Hudutsko were soldiers of the Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić brigade from Jajce, who were located in the Rama area after the fall of Jajce under Serbian rule. Thirteen of them were later buried in the area of ​​Livno and Tomislavgrad municipality. 24 years after this crime, for these crimes, as well as those in Jurići, Uzdol and Doljani, no one answered, the portal Rama-prozor.info reported.
