Advent in Stup

On the Sunday of Christ the King, November 24th, the sale of Advent wreaths and Christmas decoration was organized in the parish and shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stup after the Holy Masses, as the announcement of the fourth humanitarian charity action Advent in Stup.

This year, the event will be held in the joint organization of the parish of Stup and HKUD Don Ivan Trobentar, and aims to raise funds that will be donated to the neediest parishioners.

Preparations began last week when HKUD members were making wreaths and decorations that were sold after the Holy Mass, along with other products.

New of this year's action will be the installation of several wooden cabins in the parish courtyard, as well as a cultural and entertaining program throughout the three Saturdays of advent, when visitors will be able to have fun with live music while tasting various delicacies.

It is imagined that the first such Saturday should be on the eve of the Second Sunday of Advent, December 7th.

It is particularly pleasing that a larger number of people have joined the organization this year.

Certainly, this charitable-humanitarian action is becoming more and more recognizable from year to year, not only in the parish, but outside of it as well.
