The gathered faithful were greeted by the parish priest rev. Miroslav Ćavar and, after the introductory prayer, the young parishioner Marko Demirović lit the first Advent candle on the outer wreath.

The spiritual and entertaining part of the program followed, which was animated by the spouses Marija and Davor Stipić by singing and playing. During this time, visitors had the opportunity to treat themselves to various products provided by the organizers, and the proceeds from the sale go to charity.

The organizers hope that this event will be visited as in the year before the coronavirus pandemic, when the fair brought a real holiday spirit to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This activity, which is of a humanitarian nature, is jointly realized by: Stup Parish, HKUD Don Ivan Trobentar and NCM Ivan Pavao II., while the media sponsors are Katolički tjednik and the web-portal Nedjelja.ba.

Advent on Stup will be held every Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00 and on Sundays after the Holy Mass at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m., until the Fourth Sunday of Advent, December 19^th.
