In the shrine of Our Lady of Olovo on October 26th, on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of the professor and restorer of Our Lady's shrine in this city, OFM Lujo Zloušić, the Archbishop Coadjutor of Vrhbosna, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić led the Holy Mass, and among others, OFM Jozo Marinčić, Provincial of Bosna Srebrena and OFM Ivan Nujić, a professor at the Visoko Gymnasium and the initiator of OFM Lujo’s Day, concelebrated.
In the sermon, Msgr. Vukšić pointed out that the people recognized in OFM Lujo the traveling preacher who, similarly to St. Paul, sometimes “in hope against all hope, sought and gathered the scattered believers, encouraged them and built this temple for them on the foundations of the former prayer space.”
“And he certainly read and interpreted Paul's encouragements, lessons and admonitions, and sometimes rebukes. Together with St. Paul, we believe that he repeats them to us who gathered on the anniversary of his death at this Eucharistic celebration for his salvation", said, among other things, the Archbishop Coadjutor.
After the Holy Mass, there was a gathering and a reception.
The Holy Mass was preceded by the opening of an exhibition of objects from OFM Lujo’s legacy and devotion to Our Lady of Olovo.
