With laying of wreaths at the Busovačke staje memorial and the Holy Mass of Remembrance on June 15th marked the 27th anniversary of the suffering of members of the Humanitarian Convoy of Life for the Lašva Valley.

The Holoy Mass was led by OFM Josip Jozić, in the concelebration of the parish priest of Busovača, OFM Zoran Jaković.

“Today, when we think of our deceased who died in this ambush, we also remember the depth of their graves in which they were buried. It is this memory that shows our faith. A ray of hope always remains and we show it with our arrival”, said OFM Josip in his sermon.

At the end of the Holy Mass, the parish priest thanked everyone for coming “to pay tribute with prayers to the members of the Humanitarian Convoy of Life for the Lašva Valley who gave their lives for our freedom and the survival of the Croatian people.”

The celebration of the Holy Mass was animated by the singing of prof. Irena Čavara.
