On March 15th, Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr.Franjo Komarica, visited the church Marija Zvijezda dedicated to the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary, and celebrated a Holy Mass in concelebration with the parish priest father Zvonko Topić.

In addition to the singing and appropriate prayers, Msgr. Komarica led a believer’s procession through the church to the presbytery, praying the Laurentian Litany. Then, before the picture of Our Lady, according to the instructions, everyone together prayed Our Lady's Rosary, the prayer of Pope Francis to the Virgin Mary, prayer for the health of the sick at risk of coronavirus, and other prayers to Our Lady of Health.

Then followed a Holy Mass celebration during which the bishop emphasized the far greater need of humanity for “the Divine doctor and his cure, which protects against the pandemic of sin and eternal death”.

Towards the end of the Eucharist, the parish priest read the instructions and provisions of the Bishops of the Bishop’s Conference of BiH for dealing with the new situation of the pandemic.

The Bishop of Banja Luka concluded the worship with a prayer to the Mother of All Nations, song and blessing.
