The Advent spiritual renewal of theology in the Vrhbosan Theological Seminary (VBS) in Sarajevo 15th and 16th of December was led by the Bishop of Mostar-Duvanj and apostolic governor of Trebinje-Mrkan mons. Petar Palić.
In the beginning the Bishop was greeted by the clergyman of VBS rev. Marko Hrskanović. In his spiritual persuasions bishop Palić mentioned two Biblical characters which were important in the time of Christmastide, and those were the prophet Isaiah and John the Baptist. Nontheless, among other things, he emphasized that the prophets were a "contested sign" and reminded the theologians that they too will be, if they follow Christ, because the world as it is today, just like the chosen people in the Old Testament, "do not accept or recognize prophets". Those which were present prayed the rosary together and had a mass celebrated by Bishop Palić in concelebration by priest rev. Mark and his personal secretary, rev. Antonio Zirdum.
At the end of the two-day spiritual renewal, priest Hrskanović, on behalf of the VBS community, sent a special thank you to the bishop of the dioceses of Herzegovina.
