On this occasion, solemn Holy Mass was led by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna cardinal Vinko Puljić. In concelebration with him were the bishop of Banja Luka Msgr. Franjo Komarica, Auxiliary bishop of Banja Luka Msgr. Marko Semren, OFM, and seven other priests.

Holy Mass celebration was animated by the choir of the cathedral under the direction of rev. Marko Stanušić.

On the day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, on Friday June 11^th, the cathedral parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Sarajevo celebrated its patron, and on that occasion Holy Mass celebration was led by Cardinal Vinko Puljić, the Archbishop of Vrhbosna.

Concelebrating with him were the Provincial of the Franciscan province Bosna Srebrena OFM Jozo Marinčić, the cathedral parish priest and the dean of Sarajevo deanery venerable Mato Majić and about 15 other priests. Although it was a working day, the Eucharist was attended by many believers and nuns of different societies.

At the end of the Eucharist, piety was expressed in front of the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which was placed at the side altar.
