Celebration of the Patron St. Joseph in the shadow of the coronavirus

Turbe parish in the Travnik Deanery dedicated to St. Joseph the Worker, celebrated modestly and cautiously because of the pandemic of the coronavirus, its heavenly protector on May 1st.

The Eucharist was led over by rev. Stjepan Didak, parish priest in the faithful community of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Jelaške with the concelebration of several priests, among whom were; venerable Marko Mikić, Dean of Travnik Deanery and parish priest in the parish of St. John the Baptist in Travnik and rev. Ivan Butum, parish priest in Turbe.

The parish priest greeted those present under unusual circumstances at the beginning of the Holy Mass and thanked the priests and the believers for coming, about 40 of them.

After the Eucharistic celebration, a brief gathering was organized in front of the church with the brandy and in compliance with the recommendations and orders of the Crisis Staff of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the necessary distance, after which the believers went to their homes.

Let us remind, according to the last blessing of the houses, the parish has 196 believers and the number of 40 who were present at the Holy Mass, and who obeyed all the regulations, is truly commendable.
