On the occasion of the Epiphany and the 34th Anniversary of the Episcopal ordination of Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica, on January 4th in the Cathedral of St. Bonaventura in Banja Luka, a Christmas concert was held.
Bishop Komarica and his associates, along with the faithful, were treated with a striking performance by two inter-religious choirs Harmonija from Sanski Most and the KUD Osman Džafić from Prijedor. The choirs were led by prof. Alma Karabeg and instrumental accompaniment was designed by Arian Čengić and Sara Selman.
At the end of the performances, Bishop Komarica thanked the audience, and especially the musicians of the “unique concert”, as he called it, who showed their love and respect for the content of Christmas by singing Christmas songs.
This was followed by a get-together at the Ordinary Hall.
This concert was financially supported by a group of exiled Catholics of Banja Luka that live in Zagreb and the surrounding area.
