A regular annual convocation of priests who are pastoral active in the Diocese of Banja Luka was held on November 20th in Banja Luka. With two bishops - Msgr. Franjo Komarica and Msgr. Marko Semren - about 50 diocesan and monk priests participated.
The assembly began with a Holy Mass in the cathedral, led by bishop Komarica, with a commemorative homily by Msgr. Semren.
The meeting then continued at the building of the Diocese’ ordinary.
First, the Bishop of Banja Luka gave a presentation on current, multiple changes and challenges in the contemporary world, in the domestic society as well as in the Church, at the world and domestic level.
This was followed by reports by diocesan commissioners for specific areas: Caritas, lay people, family, youth, ministrants, martyrology, ecumenism, Catholic school centres, spiritual vocations, religious education and parish catechesis, the work of the European Academy, missions and the economic status of the diocese.
Convoction's work was conducted in a relaxed and fraternal atmosphere.
