The 8th traditional concert of the ethno group Čuvarice (Guardians) took place in the packed hall of the Cultural Centre in Prozor on Thursday, October 31st.
The presenters were initially addressed by program manager Ankica Žuljević and OFM Andrija Jozić, to whom the Guardians also presented a special gift as a thank you. Then, numerous present audiences enjoyed good music.
In the end, a commemorative reception was held in the lobby of the House of Culture.
The concert had a humanitarian note. The money raised from the Guardian's tickets will be donated to the Sisters Servants of the Little Jesus in Haiti, where sister from Rama, Ana Uložnik, also operates, while the other portion of the contributions will go to those in need in the Rama district.
The ethno group Čuvarice was founded in 2011. and they operate and act at HKUD Rama. So far, they have had notable performances throughout BiH, the Republic of Croatia, Austria ... The group leader is Biljana Glibo, a master of music culture and ethnomusicology.
