On the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul on January 25th, the Catholic School Center (KŠC) in Zenica, named after this saint, celebrated its 26th School Day.
The Eucharist was celebrated in the nearby church of St. Elijah and it was led by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna cardinal Vinko Puljić in the concelebration with about 15 priests, among who were the director of the Centre, rev. Vlatko Rosić and the parish priest OFM Marko Kepić.
In the appropriate sermon, the Cardinal explained the event of the conversion of St. Paul, who became a preacher of the Gospel after being zealous persecutor of the Church. He then briefly commented on the historic moment of the founding of KŠC in the City of Steel, emphasizing that they wanted to invest in the future by educating young people.
At the end of the Holy Mass, those present were greeted by Director Rosić, who explained that due to epidemiological measures it was not possible to organize a ceremonial academy as in previous years. He took the opportunity to pay tribute to two long-time professors: Miroslav Šetka and Željko Stapić, who are retiring. The appropriate gifts were handed to them by Cardinal Puljić.
Afterwards, the Archbishop of Vrhbosna launched a new website of the Centre on the domain www.ksc-zenica.edu.ba in the premises of the KŠC, and the gathering of employees and priests continued with a reception.
