In concelebration with the Archbishop, preceded by a solemn procession, were: OFM Jozo Marinčić, the Apostolic Nuncio in BiH, Msgr. Luiggi Pezzuto and 40 other priests.

At the beginning of the Holy Mass, Archbishop Puljić greeted the priest celebrating with him, relatives of the ordained persons, parish priests and parishioners from the parishes from which new deacons and assembled believers emerged.

After the candidates were introduced to the order of deacons and the Christian people expressed their gratitude to God for the act, cardinal Vinko gave a commemorative homily.

After the sermon, the ordination candidates expressed their willingness to accept consecrated life without wife, to maintain the worship of the hours, and to respect and obey the diocesan bishop and lawful religious leader.

Cardinal Puljić, by laying his hands and devoutly praying, gave the candidates the sacrament of the holy order of the deacons. Then the newly ordained deacons, with the help of their parish priests, put on the official liturgical garb and at the end of the rite received the evangelistary from the archbishop's hands, and with him exchanged the peace, and then began service at the altar.

With this ordaining, they accepted, as entrusted to them by the authoritative authority, the deacons' duties: to solemnly divide baptism, to preserve and share the Eucharist, to attend marriage and bless on behalf of the Church, to offer blessing to the dying, to read the Scriptures to the believers, to teach and encourage the people, to preside over the religious service and prayer, sharing the sacraments, presiding over the funeral and burial rites.

The following were ordained deacons: Josip Antukić (Parish of St. John the Baptist, Lug-Branković); Marin Babić (Parish of St. Leopold Bogdan Mandić, Maglaj); Vedran Ćosić (Parish of St. Anthony of Padua, Busovača); Josip Dedić (Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Prozor); Sandro Jurešić (Parish of St. Joseph, Zenica); Jadranko Kurt (Holy Trinity Parish, Novi Travnik); Marcel Tunjić (Parish of St. Anthony of Padua, Vukanovići) and OFM Stjepan Antolović (Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Osova) and OFM Stjepan Lukašević (Parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brestovsko).

The Holy Mass was animated by the united chorus of two theologies under the direction of rev. Marko Stanušić.

After the Eucharist, a joint photo shoot was held with the Archbishop and Provincial.
