The meeting, which was attended by 93 members out of 148 appointed, began with the prayer of the Middle Hour, which was led by rev. Marko Stanušić.

The words of greeting were delivered by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko Puljić, who also chaired the session. The presidency consisted of: Archbishop Coadjutor Msgr. Tomo Vukšić, Secretary General of the Synod, rev. Mario Bernadić and the head of the Synod Commission for Religious and Pedagogical Field, OFM Stipo Alandžak. Along with them, the moderators were members of the liturgical expert group: OFM Danimir Pezer, OFM Josip Ikić and OFM Marko Stanušić. They also presented a part of the Working Document, ie numbers 72 to 125, and spoke about: the importance of the sacraments, Christian funerals, blessings and folk devotions, liturgical music, rules for the construction and design of liturgical spaces…

A discussion of the members of the Assembly followed, and their interventions will be considered by the liturgical commission during the preparation of the final document.
