Catholic School Centre Petar Barbarić from Travnik, High school Nace Budjoni from Kumanovo, and Economy and Trade School from Kikinda, started off the realisation of # 3forECO project with a ceremony on January 31st.
The event started with a commemorative song of the KŠC mixed choir, after which the Headmaster of the Grammar School Ivana Ćurčić greeted those present. Project coordinator Alen Gudalo emphasized that the central theme of the project is ecology, and that it aims to raise awareness of the importance of nature conservation. Representative of the Regional Office for Youth Cooperation (RYCO), the main donor of the project, Berina Bukva, emphasized that this project seeks to involve young people in the decision-making process.
The participants were addressed by the Ambassador of Northern Macedonia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ekrem Ebibi, Mayor of Travnik Municipality Admir Hadžiemrić, students of partner schools Milana Momčilov from Kikinda and Sara Milkovska from Kumanovo who presented the work of their schools.
The ceremony ended with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
