From early morning, a large number of pilgrims were arriving to Komušina near Teslić where they could do their confession and attend the celebration. At 09.00 the introductory rituals started, followed by a procession with Our Lady's image to the hill Kondžilo, where the solemn celebration with the concelebration of a large number of priests was led by auxiliary bishop of Vrhbosna msgr. Pero Sudar, who held an appositely homily.
 
Before the start of the Mass celebration, the words of welcome were said by the local parish priest and guardian of the sanctuary rev. Boris Salapić. The gathered crowd was greeted by msgr. Sudar. Commenting on the meaning of reading, and especially in the gospel, a joyful encounter between Mary and Elizabeth, the preacher pointed out that God tells man that he has the right to joy, despite all the tears and difficulties of life.

"Do we have here in Kondžilo today, under this vow mass, a reason for joy? Where is our stronghold? The word of God says, 'Man, all your sorrows, all your misses, all your shame, all your enemies, all the evil that bothers you is my evil. I feel it as my evil and my burden and I will not leave you'", said msgr. Pero, reminding the audience that the examples of faith, such as those of John the Old, Paul, Mary and Elizabeth, say that God is the source of human joy.
 
According to him, the Lord of life overcomes all man's enemies and even death, and the foundation of human happiness is the fact that God has created him for eternity and the fullness of joy, to which he has the right, here and now.
 
"Mary's ascension to heaven is nothing but confirmation that God made his promise, a promise given to all men. Man, you're not a powder. Man, you're not born for death. Man, you're a star dust. You are born for eternity, you are God’s. Mary was all God’s. She was worthy to bear the Son of God with His merit and mercy. Each of us has the heart in which God wants to enter. Everyone lives a life on whose door day by day God's mercy knocks. Man, do you want to have a reason for irrefutable irrepressible joy in life despite everything? Surrender your life, by the intercession of Mary, to God's hands", emphasized msgr. Pero, encouraging believers to enduring faith.
 
"Despite all the difficulties and clouds of the evil events that overcome this world, it will be tolerable for us because we know that behind it all, above all, is our God, the God who loves us immensely, and the Mother who follows us with her intercession, prayer and mother's heart. The man who believes this, goes through life bravely and with raised forehead. He carries all life crosses because he knows, he knows, that God has an answer to the question: why the pain, illness, suffering, injustice... All this, God interweaves to His divine plan of salvation", said msgr. Sudar.
 
At the end of the Mass, the parish priest and guardian of the sanctuary at Kondžilo thanked the gathered. "We want to thank God and Our Lady of Kondžilo for all the gifts that must have been numerous and on our personal building and sanctification. Thank you to all the donors, especially to the parishioners of this parish and the pilgrims who contribute with their heartfelt contributions for the continuance of building of this venerable sanctuary", said rev. Salapić, thanking also Bishop Sudar and concelebrants, participants of the organization and realization of the celebration, as well as sister Slavica and Choir of the Parish of Žepče, who with their singing made the celebration even nicer.

After the Mass, the believers went in the procession with the picture of Our Lady to Komušina for the ending of the ceremony.
