Instead of pictures of the stations, there were guards of Christ’s tomb, which was blessed on Sunday, April 3^rd, by the retired Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko Puljić.

With the staging of evangelical figures of young people dressed in appropriate costumes, the faithful were able to “see” live some of the events encountered on Jesus’ Way of the Cross to Calvary.

The costumes were made and donated by Zora Vranješ from the neighbouring parish Rankovići.

In front of several hundred believers, the parish priest rev. Anto Ledić and sister Antonija discussed the Way of the Cross of Jesus Christ from the place of condemnation to Calvary, as well as the way of Bl. Drina Martyrs from Pale to Goražde in 1941.

According to the parish priest, every year before Good Friday, the faithful will pray the “living” Way of the Cross in this place, evoking the suffering of the Blessed Five Sisters of the Daughters of God of Love, to whom the square in front of the “lower” church is dedicated.
