Marked the day of Stadler

At the Cathedral of Sarajevo on March 8th, the day of prayer and commemoration of the servant of God Josip Stadler, the Eucharistic celebration was led by the parish priest of the cathedral and the dean of the Sarajevo Dean's Office, venerable Mato Majić, in concelebration with rev. Oliver Jurišić, Vice-Rector at the Vrhbosna Theological Seminary in Sarajevo.

In his homily, venerable Majić made a link between Abraham and the servant of God Josip Stadler. “God sends Abraham from his father’s home to another country and gives him a promise. In the same way as Abraham, God calls Stadler to leave his land and go to the land he has prepared for him. So he left his land and came to Bosnia and zealously did the will of God”, said the parish priest.

The Holy Mass was animated by the novice sister Mihaela and the candidate Nikolina, under the direction of Professor rev. Marko Stanušić, together with the choir of the sisters of the Servants of the Little Jesus.

At the end of the Holy Mass, the present gathered around the tomb of the servant of God Stadler and prayed for his proclamation as blessed.
