Media Day and promotion of "Katolički tjednik"

World Social Media Day, the 54th in a row, which is celebrated in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the last Sunday in September, was also celebrated in the parish of St. Joseph in Zenica with the promotion of "Katolički tjednik" and web-portal nedjelja.ba.

At the invitation of the parish priest, rev. Davor Topić, the Holy Mass, which was attended by about 130 believers, was led by the local son, rev. Dražen Kustura, head of the Public Relations Office and spokesman for the Vrhbosna Archdiocese.

In his sermon, rev. Dražen first reminded of the topic of the Pope's message for this year's Media Day, which focuses on telling beautiful stories. “What we eat, what we read and watch essentially influences and shapes our beliefs and our behaviours”, he said, adding: “We never inform at our neighbours about what is happening in our family. We should also be primarily informed about the events in the Church in our media.”

At the end of the Holy Mass, rev. Davor thanked the guest for leading the Holy Mass and called on the faithful to take a copy of Katolički tjednik after leaving the church and to promote this weekly newspapers which are in the service of the new evangelization.
