Meeting of the Friends of the Little Jesus of the Sarajevo Province

In the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Sarajevo on September 18th, the XXII. meeting of the Friends of the Little Jesus (PMI) of the Sarajevo Province and the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the PMI Society, was organised.

The Holy Mass was led by a longtime member of the PMI Society, rev. Jakov Kajinić, and concelebrated by rev. Miroslav Augustini, rev. Marko Perić and rev. Ivan Ravlić.

At the beginning of the Holy Mass, those present were greeted by the Provincial Head of the Society of the Sisters of the Servants of the Little Jesus, sister M. Ana Marija Kesten.

In the appropriate sermon, rev. Jakov encouraged PMI members to be willing to hear and do what Jesus wants them to do. He pointed out that they would be able to know this if they knew how to be silent and listen to the voice of God as Mary of Nazareth listened to it.

The Eucharistic prayer was followed by a ceremony of receiving new members, renewal of vows and the awarding of commemorative letters of thanks to the parishes in which PMI operates.

At the end of the Holy Mass, rev. Jakov, for 25 years of his helping the Society, was presented with an art painting.

The Eucharistic celebration was animated by the choir Akordi from Vitez under the direction of Olgica Krezić. At the end of the Holy Mass, those present gathered at the tomb of servant of God Josip Stadler and prayed for his beatification.

A joint photo shoot in front of the cathedral followed.
