In the evening of April 8th, in Sarajevo's cathedral, the memorial of the first Archbishop of Vrhbosna, God's Servant dr. Josip Stadler was commemorated.
The Eucharistic celebration was led by the canon of Vrhbosna and the postulator of the cause of God's servant Josip Stadler, msgr. Pavo Jurišić with concelebration of maestro of Cathedral’s mixed choir Josip Stadler rev. Marko Stanušić and vice rector of Vrhbosna Theology Seminary rev. Ilija Marković.
At the beginning of the Mass celebration, Msgr. Jurišić specially greeted a group of admirers of Archbishop Stadler from Gromiljak led by sister Jelena Jovanović and said he would celebrate Mass for the supporters of beatification and proclaiming as Blessed Servant of God Josip Stadler. The sisters, Servants of Little Jesus, from the communities operating in Sarajevo participated, as well as children from Stadler's children's home Egipat and the faithful God's people.

In a commemorative sermon, Msgr. Pavo, by interpreting the word of God from the reading that day, emphasized God's patience and mercy.
After the Holy communion prayer, all gathered in the Sarajevo’s Cathedral prayed at the grave of Archbishop Stadler for his proclamation of the blessed. Liturgical singing was animated by the theologians of the Vrhbosna Catholic seminary, and the reading and prayer of the faithful were read by the pilgrims from Gromiljak.
As a preparation for Mass, gathered believers prayed the Our Lady of the Rosary with contemplation about Archbishop Stadler from the time he lived and worked in Zagreb and was a participant in missionary travel to Bosnia. Like every eighth of the month, in 2019., the thinking of the missionary work of Archbishop Stadler, is continued.
