A meeting of children’s parish choirs called Anđeoski pjev – majci u čast (Angel's Song - in honor of the mother), was held in the evening of May 7th in the parish of All Saints in Aladinići, near Stolac.
The concert was organized by the Croatian Cultural Association Troplet as a gift to mothers for Mother’s Day marked on May 8th.
The ceremony began with a Holy Mass led by the parish priest rev. Marin Krešić. After the Eucharist in the church, which was filled with children, their parents and choir leaders and other believers, ten children's choirs from nine parishes performed.
The following honoured the audience with their performances: the children’s choir of the parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Dračevo; Modra rijeka from the parish of St. Elijah the Prophet Stolac; children’s choir Plavi Anđeli from the Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Studenci; Aurora, children’s choir of the parish of St. Joseph the Worker Domanovići; children’s choir Zion, parish of St. Thomas the apostle Bijeli Brijeg, Mostar; Leptiri, children’s choir of the parish of St. Mathew the apostle and ev. Rudnik, Mostar; VIS Gloria and the children’s choir Anđeli S. Ivana from the Centre - Zalik, Mostar; Zbor za devetku from the parish of St. Francis of Assisi Čapljina and the hosts Leptirići from Aladinići.
As the choirs took turns, children’s voices and tones dedicated to mothers echoed through the church. After the concert, there was a gathering in the parish hall with “ćevapijada”.
