There were 10 priests in the concelebration, and the words of greeting were said by the parish priest rev. Vlado Jagustin.

In his homily, rev. Stanušić commented on the role and importance of the Heavenly Mother, the Helper of Christians in the life of the Church, the life of an ordinary little man in the Christian world, mentioning the traditional appeal of the people of Globarica to their patron: “Our Lady, Globarica, Mother Helper, be with us!”

The patron saint of the parish passed in a joyful atmosphere this year as well, with many believers filling both the church and the courtyard. After the Holy Mass, they continued to socialize in the homes at the family tables with the recommended health care measures.

The celebration of the patron saint was preceded by spiritual preparation through May devotions and Holy Mass celebrations. Masses during the novena were led by rev. Jagustin and OFM Antun Pervan, parish priest from Osova.

Let us remind that the parish of Globarica was founded on December 19^th 1984. The religious community in its area existed before, but before independence it had its spiritual shepherd in Radunice and Osova.
