In concelebration with him, along with the parish priest, OFM Slavko Petrušić, there were about ten other priests. The Holy Mass celebration gathered a large number of local believers and pilgrims.

In his homily, OFM Ivan pointed out that the inner voice in the faithful and his strength are a sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit. “Just as the Spirit of the Father led Jesus through life, all the way to the glory of the Resurrection, so the Holy Spirit leads the believers through the cross to glory. If we sympathize with Christ, we will be glorified with him”, he said, emphasizing that “the Spirit who came down on us wants to speak to us, especially to the heart of each of us, in order to open ourselves to him even more.”

At the end of the Holy Mass, which was animated by the parish choir, the parish priest thanked those present and especially the pilgrims.

After the Eucharist, the socializing continued with refreshments.

By the way, this religious community was preparing for the celebration of the patron saint with three-day services.
