The solemn Holy Mass in the courtyard in front of the church was led by the parish priest in Busovača, OFM Zoran Jaković, in concelebration with, among others, the parish priest and guardian, OFM Mirko Majdandžić, and the monastery fraternity and about dozen other priests. Many of the pilgrims who arrived were dressed in traditional clothes.

In his homily, OFM Zoran pointed out that the majority came to Fojnica to celebrate the patron saint out of pure faith, a belief in God’s love for people, which He manifests. “The secret of today's Feast of Pentecost is that one ends and the other begins. It ends the redemptive time of Jesus Christ, the Easter time with which he overcame death, rose, ascended. Today is the birthday of the Church, today the Church begins another action, and that is the action of the apostles”, said, among other things, OFM Zoran.

At the end of the Holy Mass, which was animated by the parish choir with harmonious singing, words of thanks were given by the parish priest, OFM Mirko, followed by a socializing of gathered believers.
