People’s missions organised


From October 10th to 13th, in the parish of St. Ana in Radunice, People’s missions were held and led by Dominicans of the Croatian Dominican Province.

The whole event began with the prayer of Our Lady’s Rosary and the evening Holy Mass, during which there was an opportunity for confession as well. The Holy Mass was led and preached by OFM Ivan Marija Tomić. The Eucharist was followed by a lecture on the theme of Prayer - my everything and my nothing.

On the second day, the evening Mass was led by OFM Ante Gavranović, and was preceded by the piety of the way of the cross.

The third day of the mission began with a missionary meeting with children in religious studies. In addition to talking and socializing, they also played football. Before the evening Mass OFM Ante led the worship, and Holy Mass in the evening was led by OFM Ivan Marija.

People's missions ended with the renewal of the dedication of the parish to the Immaculate Heart of Mary after Sunday Mass during which rev. Ilija Orkić thanked the missionaries.

This spiritual renewal included 100 parishioners and believers from the Žepče region.

Last people’s missions were held in 1988. and before that in 1959. These missions are also part of the preparation for the grand jubilee - the 150th anniversary of the parish, which will be solemnly celebrated next summer.
