Believers from the parishes of Stolac, Rotimlja and Stjepan Krst were on a penitential Lent pilgrimage to the shrine of the Queen of Peace in Hrasno on the Third Sunday of Lent, on March 7th.
Part of the faithful went by car, a few by bicycle, and a number arrived on foot. They were led by the parish priest from Stolac, rev. Rajko Marković, and the parish priest of Rotimlja and Stjepan Krst, rev. Pero Pavlović.
After arriving at the shrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Way of the Cross was held next to Gradina of Our Lady and prayers were prayed at the monument to the victims of World War II of the Trebinje-Mrkan diocese built in 1991. The ministrants of those parishes carried the candles and the cross, and then anybody who wanted could have taken the sacrament of confession.
The Eucharist in the church was celebrated and preached by the vicar of the diocese vicar and parish priest of Trebinje, rev. Ivo Šutalo.
At the end, the presbyters and the faithful were greeted by the local parish priest, rev. Antun Pavlović, and thanked for another pilgrimage.
