On the last competition day of 13th Mini-football Championship for Catholic Priests, the ending games were played. Title of the champions was won by priests from Portugal who won in the finals over Bosnia and Herzegovina with the score of 3:0.
On Thursday, February 28th, in Bar, Montenegro, the finals of this year's European Championship were played.
The day began with a Holy Mass celebration, led by Msgr. Dodȅ Gjergji together with more than 200 priests from 17 different countries.
The afternoon hours were reserved for football. First, matches for the 17th to 9th place was played, followed by semi-final matches between Portugal and Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Placement for the finals was won by the Portuguese who beat Poland with better penalties shots, and Bosnia and Herzegovina who won over Croatia with 2:0.

Next came the games for seventh and fifth positions. In the third-place fight, the Polish team was more successful and won against Croatia with 2:1. In the most exciting game of the championship, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Portugal measured their strength. After a great fight, the title of European champion was won by priests from Portugal winning with the score 3:0.
OFM Mario Jelić, OFM Jure Perić, OFM Davor Petrović, OFM Marijo Plavčić, OFM Vladimir Pranjić, OFM Jure Šekerija, OFM Josip Mrnjavac, OFM Nikica Tomas, OFM Ivica Tomas, father Orel Zakaljuk, rev. Stjepan Didak and rev. Dražen Kustura, played for the mini-football representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and were coached by OFM Josip Tomas.

After the finals, announcement of the best followed and the medals were awarded, after which the party for the participants continued with a joint dinner.
It was also decided that the next 14th Mini-football Championship for Catholic Priests will be played in the Czech Republic, in Prague 2020.
