Session of members of the Ordinariate and the Administration of Bosna Srebrena


A joint session of the members of the Ordinariate of Vrhbosna and the Administration of the Franciscan Province of Bosna Srebrena was held on May 19th in Sarajevo.

The Archbishop of Vrhbosna, cardinal Vinko  Puljić presided, with the participation of the Archbishop Coadjutor Msgr. Tomo Vukšić and the Provincial, OFM Jozo Marinčić. Five members of the Ordinariate were present: Vicar General Msgr. Slađan Ćosić, Chancellor Mladen Kalfić, economist venerable Vladimir Pranjić, rector of VBS venerable Zdenko Spajić, Head of the Public Relations Office and Spokesman of the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna, rev. Dražen Kustura and the Vicar of Bosna Srebrena, OFM Petar Jeleč and five definitors: OFM Nikica Vujica, OFM Zdravko Dadić, OFM Vinko Sičaja, OFM Vili Radman and the Secretary, OFM Damir Pavić.

After the greeting, the lecture was given by OFM Nikica Vujica and presented the general picture and difficulties of the Church in the modern world.

The second part discussed the concrete cooperation between the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna (VN) and Bosna Srebrena, especially in relation to parish and monastery property, respect for jurisdiction, administration, harmonization of the pastoral calendar, the VN Synod and the relationship between the KBF and Franciscan theology and the possible unification of studies in which the formation of theologians would remain separate.
