In the premises of the Ordinariate of Vrhbosna on March 13th, a session of the Editorial Council of Katolički tjednik was held, and it was chaired by the Archbishop of Vrhbosna cardinal Vinko Puljić.
The session was attended by members of the Council: The Director of the Media Center of Vrhbosna Archdiocese, rev. Miroslav Ćavar; Editor-in-Chief of Katolički tjednik and web-portal nedjelja.ba, rev. Josip Vajdner; General Secretary of the Bishops' Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Msgr. Ivo Tomašević; Chancellor of the Vrhbosna Archdiocese, venerable Mladen Kalfić; Director of the Archdiocese’s Youth Pastoral Center Ivan Pavao II. and a professor at KBF rev. Šimo Maršić; Director of KŠC Sv. Pavao in Zenica rev. Vlatko Rosić; parish priest in Radunice rev. Ilija Orkić; Caritas BiH employee Zlatko Malić and Catholic journalist Brane Vrbić.

According to the daily schedule, editor Vajdner first submitted an analysis of the content and editing of Katolički tjednik, with a special emphasis on switching the newspaper’s printing to new printing company, better paper, and more pages on which it will come out.
Then the members gave their feedback and remarks. Majority agrees with remark that the editorial board should be congratulated on persistence and quality, especially when it is known that Katolički tjednik is the only weekly newspapers being published in Croatian language in BiH.

The dynamics and content of the web-portal nedjelja.ba, which is the “extended hand” of these papers in the “digital continent”, was also mentioned.
Finally, the future of Katolički tjednik was considered as a diocesan project, and a need to find ways to animate the priests on the ground to engage even better and more actively in the spread of this newspaper, which is “the voice in the service of the new evangelization”, was noticed.
