The Vrhbosna Theological Seminary (VBS) in Sarajevo hosted spiritual exercises of priests of the Vrhbosna Archdiocese from February 14th to 17th.
About 20 priests participated, and the leader was a professor of Scripture at the KBF, Dr. Rev. Dubravko Turalija. The central theme of the speech was in line with the synodal procession of the general Church and the recently concluded First Synod of the VN: Syn-hodos-put-s-Isusom i apostoli. During four days prof. Turalija had six considerations which he titled: 12 people-12 characters of Israel; A meek father and untamed sons; Andrew and Peter; James and John + 1; Philip and Thomas + 2 and Nathanael and Matthew +1.
Also, the participants prayed the Morning Prayer together every morning, celebrating Holy Mass, prayed the rosary and had the opportunity to approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
By the way, priests are obliged to participate in spiritual exercises once a year, and the Vrhbosna Archdiocese has several opportunities for that: in February at the VBS in Sarajevo, in August at the Archdiocesan Seminary Petar Barbarić in Travnik and in November at the NCM John Paul II.
