Study day for educators, theologians and seminarians


Educators in theological and small seminaries from BiH, together with the Archbishop of Vrhbosna cardinal Vinko Puljić on October 2nd, in the premises of the NCM Ivan Pavao II. in Sarajevo, participated in the Study Day, which was organized as part of a permanent formation.

The organizers were the Theological Council and the Council for Small Seminaries of the BK BiH and the Counselling Centre of Vrhbosna Archdiocese.

Parallel lectures for educators and theologians and seminarians on the topic of Vulnerability and empathy in interpersonal relations were given by: the head of the counselling Centre of Vrhbosna Archdiocese and professor at the KBF in Zagreb and Sarajevo Dr. Sanda Smoljo-Dobrovoljski and the priest of the Đakovo-Osijek Archdiocese, professor at the KBF in Đakovo and the head of the Marriage and Family counselling Centre of the Đakovo-Osijek Archdiocese, Dr. Josip Bošnjaković.

After the lecture, a Eucharist was celebrated in the NCM chapel by Archbishop Puljić, with concelebration of the priest-educators.

The Study Day was attended by heads from: Franciscan Theology, Vrhbosna Theological Seminary and the Archdiocesan Missionary International Seminary Redemptoris Mater in Vogošća and the Archdiocesan Seminary Petar Barbarić in Travnik and the Franciscan Seminary in Visoko, as well as the bishop’s representatives from Banja Luka and Mostar.

At the same time, the presentations were listened to by 59 theologians, seminarians and postulants; 23 Franciscan and 19 diocesans; eight theologians from the Neocatechumenal Community; five seminarians from Travnik, as well as one seminarian and three postulants from Visoko.
