The 28th anniversary of the JNA tanks stops in Polog


May 7th, 1991., is marked as the day of the beginning of organized resistance to the Great Serbian aggression, the day when the Croatian people, the barehanded and unarmed, opposed the more numerous and powerful Great Serbia aggressor.

The program of marking the 28th anniversary of stopping the tanks in Polog, began with the performance of the anthem Lijepa naša, after which wreaths and burnt candles were laid in memory of all the dead in Polog.

Before the Holy Mass, victims of war in Polog were worshiped by prayer and laying wreaths and candles. The wreaths were laid and the candles lit by the delegation of HDZ BiH and HNS and the delegation of the Armed Forces of BiH.
