The 37th regular meeting of military chaplains

Regular 37th meeting of priests acting as soul carers in the Military Ordinariate in BiH was held on June 18th in the military base in Bukova Greda near Orašje.

The meeting began with the Eucharist in the chapel of St. George, led by the Archbishop coadjutor of Vrhbosna, and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić. Due to compliance with the measures of public gathering, about 20 soldiers participated.

In the working part, the minutes from the two previous meetings were adopted, after which the military chaplains reported on the situation in their chaplaincies, especially with regard to their pastoral work during the pandemic, and discussed what would be most needed in the next period.

The Archbishop thanked the chaplains for being available to the faithful in the days of danger, called on them to be even more carefully available for the spiritual needs of the soldiers and announced a visitation in all military chaplaincies for the next period. The next meeting of military chaplains is scheduled for the first half of November at the military chaplaincy in Livno.
