The Archbishops of Vrhbosna paid tribute to the General Hospital


The Archbishop of Vrhbosna cardinal Vinko Puljić and Archbishop Coadjutor Msgr. Tomo Vukšić visited the General Hospital Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakaš in Sarajevo where they met with the director and part of the Covid team of this medical institution.

They were received by the first man of the General Hospital, Dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanović and the staff involved in the treatment of the two archbishops in December 2020.

In a cordial conversation cardinal Puljić and Msgr. Vukšić paid tribute to the General Hospital and its staff for the health service provided and the attention shown. Also, the cardinal donated to the director Gavrankapetanović the book that was published on the occasion of his 75th birthday, the 50th  anniversary of his priesthood, 30th anniversary of being a bishop and 25th anniversary of cardinal service, Zbornik radova Vrhbosanska mjesna Crkva i njezin kardinal. In addition, he presented him with a recognition in the form of a medal with the insignia of the Vrhbosna Archdiocese.

Prof. Gavrankapetanović thanked the guests for the visit and introduced them to the current situation in this health institution. He wished them good health, emphasizing that they were good and patient patients and that the staff of the General Hospital is always available to them.
