The Holy Mass was led by venerable Vladimir Pranjić, economist of the Vrhbosna Archdiocese. About 15 priests concelebrated, mostly pastoral workers in the parishes of the Usora Deanery, and all were greeted at the beginning by the parish priest, rev. Josip Jelić.

Venerable Pranjić in his homily, emphasized the essence of the feast of the Heart of Jesus, which is a symbol of God's love for every human being. He pointed out that the Sacred Heart of Jesus is full of love and that all people should reconsider their lives and ask themselves how much they follow that love.

At the end of the Holy Mass venerable Pranjić blessed the work of art Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was painted and donated by the painter Alojzije Gašparević from Žepče.

Economist Pranjić also led the Holy Mass the day before.

Parish of Doboj has two branches - in Gračanica and in Makljenovac. Before the last war in 1991., it had 4,172 Catholics, and today just over 200 families and 400 believers.
