The office of the military chaplain in Butile was blessed

On the memorial day of St. Filip Neri, May 26th, Archbishop Coadjutor of Vrhbosna and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate in BiH, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić blessed the premises assigned to the military chaplain inside the barracks of the main logistics base of the Armed Forces of BiH, which is located in Butile near Sarajevo.

First, Msgr. Vukšić, accompanied by Chancellor rev. Josip Tadić, had a meeting with the barracks commander Boris Perišić and his closest associates. After this meeting, which was joined by Father Duško Lalović, pastor for Orthodox soldiers, Archbishop Vukšić blessed the premises of the new office with the participation of soldiers and civilians serving in Butile.

By the way, the barracks in Butile is part of the military chaplaincy based in Rajlovac, where rev. Ivo Jezidžić works as a military pastor. There is now an office open for the military chaplain for meetings with Catholics in the AF BiH and civilians employed inside the barracks, where, like the one in Butmir, chaplain Jezidžić comes once a week.
