The Holy mass celebration with the concelebration of the parish priest rev. Marinko Filipović and another 13 priests of the Sarajevo deanery led by the Dean. Mato Majić, the parish priest of the cathedral, and with the assistance of deacon Adnan Petar Mihael Jašarević, and the seminarians of the Vrhbosna Seminary, was preceded by msgr. Pavo Jurišić, canon of the Vrhbosna captol.

The parish church was filled by numerous believers of this, as well as other Sarajevo parishes, as well as the immense number of nuns and seminarians of VBS.

At the beginning, the parish priest Filipović welcomed everyone.

After the proclaimed Gospel, Msgr. Jurišić sent a commemorative homily.

The Holy mass celebration was animated by harmonious singing by the parish choir together with the Community of Croatian Students Pleter, along with the organ following of conductor Dario Vučić.

After the brief parish priest's address when he thanked everyone on arrival and the organization of the celebration, Angelus was prayed, and for the priests and nuns there was lunch in the parish pastoral centre Josip Stadler, and for the crowded gathering there was socialising with some refreshments as well.

The parish prepared for their patron celebrations with triduums, that were led by former parish priest and missionary rev. Dominko Bilić, and the early mass on the patrons' day was led by the spiritual leader of the VBS seminarians, rev. Jakov Kajinić.
