On behalf of those present, the congratulation was delivered by the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Vrhbosna, Msgr. Slađan Ćosić emphasizing that the task of the Three wise men was entrusted to all in attendance - to be missionary students “proclaiming the great mystery of our faith in God who became Emanuel, God with us”.

In this spirit, he congratulated the cardinal and wished him a blessed new 2020. The Archbishop of Vrhbosna, in his reply to the greeting, thanked all the congratulators and stated in the context of the coming year that all man's life was “a walk to the Lord”.
