On that occasion, the solemn Eucharist was led by rev. Matija Šimić, parish priest in Novo Selo - Balegovac. Together with the parish priest rev. Ante Stjepanović, and the dean of Dobor and the parish priest in Odžak, venerable Jakov Filipović, 15 other priests concelebrated.

In his homily, rev. Šimić emphasized that Mary, as an image of the Church, shows by her example how every Christian should cooperate with his own redemption. “The Church needs to follow Mary in faith, hope and love so that it can be touched by the grace of Christ. What the Church strives for has already been achieved in Mary. The secret of Mary's success and the success of the great Christian figures is that as a servant she dedicated her whole life to the Lord, accepting God's lordship over her life”, are some of the messages of rev. Šimić who reflected on Mary's greatness and role in the Church.

Before the beginning of the Holy Mass in front of the church there was a rite of blessing of the fields.
