Let us remind; on October 27th 1986., religious leaders of all world religions met in Assisi to pray for peace. In a world where many wars have more or less implicated all religions and endangered their existence due to social and natural insecurity, this meeting has awakened hope for the positive power of religions to be the basis of a world of peace, human rights and solidarity, and is inspired a peace, dialogue and ecumenical movement around the world.
