On the day of St. Luke, October 18th, with the Eucharistic Celebration and an Academy, Catholic Faculty of Theology (KBF) in Sarajevo celebrated it’s heavenly patron.
Holy Mass in the seminary church of St. Cyril and Methodius was led by a great chancellor of this high education institution of Vrhbosna, Archbishop Vinko cardinal Puljić in communion with the Military Ordinarium in BiH Msgr. Tomo Vukšić and 30 other priests.

Initially, the Dean of the KBF dr. Darko Tomašević welcomed all present, emphasizing that the holy mass is a occasion to give thanks to God for the graces and blessings that are given to people.
In a commemorative homily cardinal Puljić first briefly referred to the life of St. Luke putting his loyalty to helping St. Paul in his missionary work in first place, and which is witnessed in Holy Scripture. Remarking that this sacred doctor and evangelist is an example which should be followed, he pointed to the fact that studies and lectures should be related, and also that a life lesson should be drawn from it that says that it is not only important to learn and acquire knowledge, but also with life to testify what is learned.
The most successful were awarded
After the Holy Mass, at Paul's Hall at the KBF building, followed a academic act during which ten new masters of theology who graduated from KBF during the past academic year were promoted.
